Frank Biondi’s Bad VC Adventure

It’s every VC’s worst nightmare: New York Times coverage of your crummy investment performance. And that is exactly what happened to Frank Biondi today, with his Waterview Partners fund being dissected for its awful investment track record:

Waterview Advisors, a media and telecommunications investment fund
where [Biondi] has been a managing director, lost 61 percent of its
investors’ money as of the end of December and is not making further
investments, according to an executive close to the fund who discussed
the fund’s investment record on condition of anonymity.
