Duke-ing it Out for the Vaporware Award

Ah, what a warm and fuzzy feeling I got this morning when Wired posted its 2005 Vaporware awards. After being taken off the list in 2003 via a Lifetime Achievement Award, perennial first-placer Duke Nukem Forever is back in first place. The game, announced in 1997 (!), is now almost a decade late, and the company is still promising that DNF will be released “when it’s done”. Here’s to not-shipping Duke for another decade!

Anyone up for an online-only vaporware award? I would have suggested Riya be on the list, although that is apparently changing this week at DEMO. If you can think of others that have been promised for seemingly forever but have not yet showed up, post ‘em here.
