Truveo Taken Out
Early-early stage video search company Truveo was apparently acquired late-late last year by AOL. The news came out today.
The service works well, so this isn’t a complete surprise, even if they had never really gotten beyond proof of concept. Congrats, nevertheless, to all involved, including my friend the ubiquitous Jeff Clavier.
[Update] Jeffs tells me that they did get to business apps, so I stand corrected.
