Google Scholar Out Recruiting

Google has posted an interesting position on its emerging Google Scholar team. While you’ll be right in the copyright crossfire, it could also be a lot of fun in a group within Google that has a huge and open playing field:

Job Description: Google’s rapidly growing content partnerships organization is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and growing strategic relationships with our Google Scholar partners. These partners include the top scholarly publishers, aggregators and repositories in the US and abroad. You will be in charge of managing existing partner relationships, recruiting new partners to join Google Scholar and representing Google’s brand and interests to partners as well as at industry events.

Responsibilities include maintaining strong direct relationships with key partners, implementing more automated processes for working with numerous smaller partners, driving new partnerships, selling new business opportunities to existing partners, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of business issues raised by partners. We are seeking a proactive and organized individual with relevant experience in scholarly publishing and the internet/technology to join our growing team.

I was doing New Bus Dev for the #1 SEO on Google when typing in the keywords:
Check out who it is – Pierre – was great to consult for and to help the company generate over $250,000 in new bus clients in my 1st 90 day contract period. San Jose SEO Conference and the Google Party was awesome too!
