Gawker Media has launched a new blog, Consumerist, which has the following puckish mission:

An economics fix-it site? A monetary policy version of Digg? (Do you Digg a quarter-point increase, or a half-point increase?) Nossir. It’s a guide through the many sins of companies that sell to we lowly consumers.
