Any Bloggers Want a Free Book?

The Free Press and Lee Eisenberg are apparently running a blog-o-sphere promotion of his upcoming new book, The Number, on retirement. If you’re interested, check out the offer here. It’s an interesting promotional idea, so I’ll be curious to see how many takers he gets. If anyone decides to take Lee up, can you post a note here? Thanks.

  1. I might be a bit younger than his target audience, but I think a lot about numbers, and I liked the other The Number by Berenson.
After The Big Moo, I hesitant to buy into any book promotions, though.

  2. Rather hard to see what the offer entails. The “Bloggers, click here…” link just takes you to a form where you’re asked to fill in all the usual name/address info. It doesn’t tell you what you have to do to “qualify” – or what they’re going to do with your data.
Still, like the trusting fool I am, I handed over my details, expecting to learn more behind the cluewall. Nothing. Not even (so far) an email follow up.
I’ll let you know if the book magically shows up in my mailbox, or if I find out anything more.

I received the email inviting me to fill out the form and receive the book. I finally did receive it and I’m guessing that the previous comment poster will also receive it. Now all I have to do is read it.
