In a post yesterday author William Gibson reminds me of one of my favorite Tom Waits quotes:
Tom Waits frequently annoyed reporters with his tall tales, inaudible responses and penchant for evasion.
Waits was once asked why he had allowed six long years to pass between albums. His reply? “I was stuck in traffic.”
