Podshow Attracts Sequoia and KP

According to Dan Primack of PE Week Wire, the Adam Curry-founded PodShow.com has received venture funding from the twin towers of venture capital, Sequoia and Kleiner Perkins. The two firms have apparently participated in an $8.5mm series A financing, one that has put John Doerr and Ray Lane on the PodShow board.

I don’t see the news elsewhere, so despite my relative non-interest in all things podcasting-related, I thought it worth passing on.
