Google & the Invisible People: An Update

So far in my low-rent, small-sample study into the percentage of everyday people that are visible to Google the answer is even lower than I expected. I have spoken to eight people: two cab-drivers, a lawyer, two students, a cashier, a hotel check-in person, and a university administrator, and only the last person was Google visible.
Just for future reference in case anyone out there every tries the same thing, strangers react nervously when you say, “Can I Google you?” I pull out the Treo and people lean away worriedly, like it might be a phaser.
