I’m Worth 336 AOL Subscribers

Lots of people making noise about some stats concerning AOL users’ email usage, but my question goes in the opposite direction. Who are these people that only check email five times a day? My various PCs poll both personal and professional servers all day long, pulling mail from the seven (!) different accounts that I use.
So, seven accounts, ten times an hour, twenty-four hours a day … that’s 1,680 mail checks for me. I’m apparently worth 336 AOL users. Somehow I thought it would be higher.
