Greasemonkey<> Greasemoney?

I had a typically fascinating chat with Jon Udell this morning at IDG Syndicate conference. We talked about Greasemonkey, structured blogging, public email, and Google as a federated operating system. Eavesdropping around me, however, it is like hearing pieces of the same conversation in quadrophonic stereo: I have people on four sides of me talking about Greasemonkey. It’s like, “GreasemonkeyGreaseMonkeyGreaseMonkeyGreaseMonkey”.
So, when does Greasemonkey become Greasemoney? Is there a venture-backable company in here somewhere, or is this just a wacky application development framework? To be somewhat coy, I think there are backable ideas in here, and I’ll elucidate later.

  1. Could you elaborate more on some of those backable ideas?
We’ve been thinking about the same thing (and that’s how I found your earlier post on Greasemonkey, btw) but couldn’t identify anything with enough potential, and so I’d be intrigued to read what you have to say on that subject.
