Online photo service Snapfish, a unit of privately held District Photo Inc., of Beltsville, Md., is being bought by Hewlett-Packard Co. Financial terms of the deal have not been announced.
Hewlett-Packard says Snapfish’s expertise in online photo services “will rapidly enhance” its ability to capitalize on the growing market for online photo printing.
