MSN Desktop Search: Installed … and Uninstalled

Just tried the new MSN Desktop Search and had possibly the fastest user experience ever. It looked pretty, but it insisted on having its results display in an Internet Explorer pop-up. Given that I use Maxthon for my browsing I have no interest in being hit with IE just so that Microsoft can display search results. So … I have uninstalled MSN Search and I remain a cheerful user of Copernic.

I think you are mistaken. It displays results in its own UI. If anything it looks like a clone of Explorer not IE which makes the most sense given the right-click actions that are launchable from search results.

Ditto. But no surprise there, I guess.
