VOiP Management Startups

The July issue of IEEE Communications magazine has some good pieces on VoIP and related QoS/management issues, with the Takahashi et al., and Bing et al., papers being particularly useful. The former suggested some practical perceptual measurements of QoS, and the latter described the effect of VoIP on other network apps.

Just watch: There will be at least two companies launched in both areas over the next year — and these pieces will have been the trigger. Not to say there aren’t oodles of VoIP startups already — there are — but new articles like these seem to bring entrepreneurs out of the woodwork.
