In-air iChat
In what is almost certainly a first, an Apple product manager conducted an iChat video conversation with another Apple product manager back in Cuptertino. The twist, however, is that the first product manager was on an airplane somewhere between Munich and San Francisco. The in-flight world will never be the same -- or as quiet.
In case you're curious, the infrastructure was Lufthansa’s new wireless high-speed broadband connection service. Provide by Boeing's Connexxion folks, the service costs $29.95 for unlimited use during the flight.
