Funny column (by Roger Ebert, of all people) on how not to do a media acquisition. His Chicago Sun-Times has been at the wrong end of a number of such transactions in recent years:"We survived [Rupert] Murdoch. We even liked the editors he sent us, especially Frank Devine, an Australian who stalked through the city room bellowing, ''Penguins! Give me more penguins!''
