Wired has a dishy profile of WSJ technology business columnist Walt Mossberg. According to the magazine, Walt is the best-paid journalist at the paper, making on the order of $500,000 a year. That is remarkable stuff for a thrice-weekly tech columnist. I’m sure it will set off greed-meters among columnists throughout the land, with people saying to themselves, ”I must be worth at least half a Walt….”
